Master Planning
A Master Plan addresses current needs of an area, site, or building while simultaneously planning for future goals of growth and expansion. Master planning can include vision casting, planning, designing, phasing, and implementation. In planning for the present and future at the same time, costly mistakes can be avoided in the future because current plans will be in line with future plans. A master plan will typically include detailed designs for current plans and generally designed future areas, which allows those details to be planned according to the specific needs of that time.
