STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Position:

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in structural engineering and a passion for creating safe, efficient, and innovative designs.  You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing structural portions of projects from conception to completion.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (emphasis in Structural)

  • Professional Engineer license (P.E.) preferred but not required

  • Structural Engineering license (S.E.) a plus but not required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis

  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., Robot, ENERCALC, STAAD.Pro, or similar)

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD and/or Revit)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IBC, ACI, AISC, AISI, NDS, ASCE, etc.)

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural components for buildings, including but not limited to foundations, beams, columns, walls, and slabs.

  • Review and evaluate existing structures.

  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.

  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and coordinated designs.

  • Review shop drawings, perform site observations, and provide technical support during construction.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology

  • Professional Engineer license (P.E.) preferred but not required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing system design and implementation

  • Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., Trane TRACE, or similar)

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD and/or Revit)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IBC, IMC, IPC, IFGC, ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.)

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

  • Knowledge and experience designing electrical systems a plus

  • Knowledge and experience designing fire suppression systems a plus

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop HVAC and plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

  • Conduct HVAC load calculations, energy modeling, and system simulations.

  • Perform calculations to determine pipe sizes, fixture units, and other plumbing requirements.

  • Select and specify HVAC and plumbing equipment and materials.

  • Review and evaluate existing HVAC and plumbing systems.

  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.

  • We are seeking a talented and detail oriented Architectural Drafter/Designer to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for architecture and a strong proficiency in drafting software.  You will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed architectural drawings, working closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to bring design concepts to life.

 

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or related field

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD and/or Revit)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction methods

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and as a team

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations is a plus

  • Previous experience in an architectural firm, engineering firm, or related field is preferred

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and details using CAD software (AutoCAD and/or Revit).

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop and refine design concepts.

  • Ensure that all drawings and plans comply with local building codes and regulations.

  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications.

  • Review and revise drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and clients.

  • Maintain project documentation and records in an organized manner.

  • Participate in project meetings and coordinate with other disciplines as needed.
